Ready, Steady, GROW!

Following a really successful and encouraging launch which saw us place six volunteers in Wansbeck Primary School last year, we are delighted to have now expanded to a team of 12 volunteers delivering 13 reading schemes in six schools.

Wansbeck is joined by Wheeler Primary School and with the generous sponsorship of Sewell Facilities Management, we have been able to place volunteers in Endike, Highlands, Kingswood Parks and Victoria Dock Primary Schools.

Our next scheme, which begins this week will last for 12 weeks and will take us through the summer term. With huge ambition to build on our success to date, we are working towards recruiting even more volunteers to work in more schools by September.
